I have listened to this album a lot since I’ve first heard
it. Even though its 58 minutes long, each song goes by quickly. This album
never left me bored and never felt stagnant. The music itself is great, but I really think Simon Coseboom
is laughable at best. After the backlash of releasing a vinyl pressing of this
album through Asrar, instead of owning up to it he says something along the
lines of " I didn’t do my research on Asrar Im so sorry." which is a
move that is the antitheses to the genuine black metal spirit. Despite the guy being a soyboy dunce, the music itself is awesome. I’m here to
review black metal, not people, and this is a bloody good album. The
instrumental tracks are great, the riffs are catchy, and we have some nice
vocals. I like the raw vocals without the completely raw production. Cool mix.
My favorite song on here is definitely "Immortal Son of Damnation."
