Behold... the Age of Pagan Blood - Arbor, 2023

I saw people absolutely raving about this album in 2023 so I decided to check it out for myself because I never got the chance to. Im already noticing how I absolutely love the production, its very nice and crisp. This album is very triumphant and I adore the guitar tone when it comes to the cleaner sounding riffs. While listening to this, I can really see myself wandering through an ancient forest. The first track "Darkness, Abyss, Solitude" lives up to its name perfectly. It fills the air around you with this dreary feeling which is even more emphasized by the folky instrumental at the end of the track. The third track "Our Souls Glare in Flame" is also a standout to me. This whole album makes me feel like partaking in battle, raising my mighty sword drenched in bloodied snow to slay my enemies in the deepest darkest of forests. I never got bored once listening to this, even during the 12 minute track titled "Return to Forest." I think this album is outstanding and truly deserves all the hype it gets. Taurus always puts out something great. No song here is forgettable.
